Little Scholars School of Early Learning and Natural Elements ELC formed a partnership together to help the Rockabilly Riders collect items for their annual Christmas Appeal being held on Saturday 13th December 2014.

We both set up baskets for donations in our foyer; the basket were for children to place any donation of toys, food items or decorations, anything to help make someone else’s Christmas just that little bit more special.

This year the Rockabilly Riders will be helping “Ability Care” which is an organisation that helps out families with special needs or disable children. This year a record of 48 families listed with Ability Care will received food hampers and toys from the Rockabilly Riders.

The club will spend the next 2 weeks wrapping and packing hampers ready for delivery on the 13/12/14. The club dress up in Christmas outfits and decorate their motor bikes and deliver these hampers (Eagleby, Beenleigh, Yatala, Barh Scrubs) in person just to make it all that bit more special for the families involved.

Simone and Tayla would like to thank everyone so much for donating items to this wonderful event. It is such a great community event to be involved in and brings out an even more wonderful sense of community pride.  As a thank you for the donations 2 of the club members attended the centre dressed as Santa and an Elf and passed out candy canes to the children and spoke with them about what they wanted for Christmas, Santa was very big on manners and made sure the children knew how to say please and thank you. Which of course they all did.

Thank You for your help and support.
