Yes. Little Scholars Nerang runs a Government-approved kindergarten program led by qualified early childhood teachers, preparing children for Prep. It runs inside the campus's 6:30am to 6:30pm day, so there is no separate kindergarten pick-up, and Free Kindy covers 15 hours a week across 40 weeks.
Kindergarten at Little Scholars Nerang suits children aged 4 to 5. Some 3 year olds start a little early. It depends on the child, the numbers in the room and the waitlist. Ask on your tour.
What does childcare cost at Little Scholars Nerang?

Child Care Subsidy
The CCS is paid directly to Little Scholars Nerang and taken off your bill, so you only pay the gap. As at August 2026, families earning up to $88,520 receive a 90% subsidy, and families with more than 1 child aged 5 or under in care can receive a higher rate for second and younger children.
The 3 Day Guarantee
Every family eligible for the Child Care Subsidy now gets at least 3 days of subsidised care a week, no matter how much you work or study. It covers every child at Little Scholars Nerang, not just kindy, and most families still pay a gap fee.

Child safety
This is the part of choosing care that matters most, so here it is plainly.
Three policies govern how we keep your child safe: Child Protection, Child Safe and Wellbeing, and Providing Safe Environments. Everyone on our team completes the national Foundations of Child Safety Training, and does it again every year.
We run an internal Child Safety Squad and work hard at a speak-up culture, where anyone who notices something says something. Our Operations Manager, Melanie Excell, is a Queensland Children's Rights Ambassador.
If something worries you, tell us. Raise it with the Nerang team and we'll act on it. You can also contact the Department directly, at any point, without coming to us first. Whatever you raise, we meet our reporting obligations. Every time.
