Home / Family Time Program
Between work, drop-offs and a calendar full of appointments, the moments that matter most get squeezed out. The Family Time Program brings haircuts, take-home meals, date nights and specialist appointments onto campus — so your evenings and weekends belong to your family again.
We’re not just a childcare centre. We’re part of your village.
There are no reheated trays or outside caterers here. Every campus has an experienced in-house chef preparing wholesome meals and snacks from scratch each day, in our commercial-grade kitchens.
Breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea are nutritionally balanced, age-appropriate and portioned for growing bodies — using locally sourced, fresh ingredients. Our menus meet and exceed the Australian Dietary Guidelines, providing at least half of your child’s daily nutritional needs while they’re in our care
Chef-prepared dinners for the whole family, ready to pick-up. Feed Australia approved.

Here’s what the Family Time Program actually changes about your week.
The haircuts, the dentist, the dinner prep — the errands that quietly eat your Saturday all happen during the week, on campus. You get those hours back for the park, the beach, or simply slowing down together.
Specialist visits happen while your child is already in care — no juggling annual leave, no circling carparks, no rescheduling a whole day around a 20-minute check-up.
A speech pathologist, optometrist and child health nurse on campus means small concerns get noticed and gently addressed early — at the age when early intervention matters most.
Collect a chef-prepared, Feed Australia–approved family meal at pick-up. The end of the day stops being a scramble and starts being time at the table together.
Quarterly date nights are built into the program — because looking after your family includes looking after the two people holding it together.
Every service happens somewhere your child already feels safe, with educators who know them. Less disruption for them, far less coordination for you.
It’s our way of giving families back quality time. We bring everyday services and specialist appointments onto campus — on-site haircuts, take-home meals, quarterly date nights, a courtesy bus at select campuses, and visits from an optometrist, dentist, speech pathologist, podiatrist and child health nurse — so families spend less time running errands and more time together.
On-campus haircuts, chef-prepared take-home meals, quarterly date nights, a courtesy bus (select campuses), and specialist appointments including optometry, dentistry, speech pathology, podiatry and child health nursing. Daily chef-prepared meals, complimentary extracurriculars, nappies and wipes, and a daily digital portfolio are all included as part of everyday life at Little Scholars.
It removes the appointments and errands that usually fill evenings and weekends. Specialist visits and services happen during care hours, in one trusted place — so there’s no time off work, no extra driving, and far less to coordinate.
Family Time Program services are offered on campus across the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Redland Bay and Ipswich. The courtesy bus runs at select campuses — ask your campus manager what’s offered at your nearest campus.
Appointments are arranged through your campus manager or reception team, who coordinate everything around your child’s day so care stays familiar and uninterrupted.
Yes. Chef-prepared take-home meals can be ordered for children and parents to take the stress out of dinner. Meals are $7.50 each, must be pre-ordered, and every Little Scholars menu is approved by Feed Australia.
Date nights give parents time to reconnect while their children are cared for in a safe, nurturing and familiar environment — one of the simplest ways the program supports the whole family, not just the child.
Having health and allied-health specialists visit campus means concerns can be noticed and gently supported early — at the age when early intervention has the greatest impact — all in a setting where your child already feels comfortable.
