Moments that matter.

Little Scholar Toddler Events

Childhood passes in a blink. We make sure as many of those moments as possible are truly memorable.

Our annual calendar is packed with events that go far beyond the everyday โ€” from whole-campus cultural celebrations to heartfelt graduations, from sensory Easter hunts to joyful Christmas concerts that families will talk about for years.

Every event is thoughtfully planned to celebrate children’s growth, honour the diversity of our community, and create the kind of shared memories that bind families, educators and children together.

Why events matter in early childhood.

Events aren't extras โ€” they're an essential part of a rich early childhood experience.

Belonging & Community

Events create a sense of shared identity โ€” children learn they are part of something bigger than themselves, a campus community that celebrates and supports each other.

Family Connection

Research consistently shows that children thrive when their home world and care world feel connected. Events are the bridge โ€” welcoming families into the everyday joy of campus life.

Cultural Empathy

Through Camp Out, Multicultural Week and Reconciliation Week, children develop genuine curiosity and respect for cultures, traditions and perspectives different from their own.

Confidence Building

Performing in a concert, walking in a parade, or receiving a graduation certificate in front of family โ€” these moments build the kind of confidence children carry through school and life.

Meaningful Milestones

Children need rituals and markers that say "this is important, and so are you." Our calendar is designed to punctuate the year with exactly those moments โ€” big and small.

Shared Memories

The moment a child sees their parent's face at a concert, or holds their graduation certificate โ€” that's a memory for life. We plan every event with those moments at the very centre.

Your questions answered.

Everything you need to know about events and experiences at Little Scholars.

What annual events does Little Scholars run each year?+
Little Scholars runs a full calendar of events throughout the year, including Camp Out, Book Week, Mother's Day and Father's Day celebrations, Multicultural Week, graduation ceremonies, Easter and Christmas events, Cultural Days, Art Show, Science Fair, Kindergarten information nights, Dental Health Week, and family fun days. Events vary by campus โ€” ask your nearest campus for their specific calendar.
Are families invited to Little Scholars events?+
Absolutely. Family participation is at the heart of many of our events. From morning teas and concerts to graduation ceremonies, families are warmly welcomed and encouraged to share in the celebrations. We know these moments mean the world โ€” to the children and to you.
Do all campuses run the same events?+
The core annual calendar is consistent across all campuses, but each campus also plans unique events that reflect their local community and the interests of the children in their care. Contact your nearest campus or book a tour to find out what's on their event calendar.
Are events included in childcare fees?+
Most of our annual events and experiences are included as part of your regular childcare fees โ€” no extra cost for the memory-making. Some special incursions or external providers may have a small additional fee; your campus team will always give you advance notice of anything like that.
How do events support my child's development?+
Events are more than fun โ€” they're powerful learning moments. Cultural celebrations build empathy and global awareness. Graduation ceremonies develop confidence and a sense of achievement. Gardening days nurture responsibility and connection with nature. Family events strengthen the bond between home and care, which research shows is one of the strongest predictors of wellbeing in early childhood.
How will I know what events are coming up at my campus?+
Families are kept informed through our Little Scholars family app, campus newsletters, and notices posted at the campus. You'll always have plenty of notice before a big event so you can plan to join in.
