Little Scholars operates 17 early learning campuses across South East Queensland — 11 on the Gold Coast (Ashmore, Burleigh, Burleigh Waters, Nerang, Pacific Pines, Parkwood, Ormeau, Ormeau 2, Ormeau Village, Stapylton, Yatala), 3 in greater Brisbane (Deception Bay, Deception Bay North, George Street/Brisbane City), 1 in Ipswich ( Karalee), and 2 in Redland Bay (Redland Bay, Redland Bay South).
We hire Early Childhood Teachers (ECTs), Educational Leaders, Lead Educators, Second in Charge (2IC), Centre Managers, qualified educators (Cert III and Diploma), trainees, casual relief educators, chefs and support staff. Specific vacancies vary by campus — see our Gold Coast careers page or Brisbane careers page.
For most permanent roles you'll need a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), and either a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards one), Diploma, or Bachelor of Education / Early Childhood Teaching for ECT roles. We also support trainees with fully funded Cert III and Diploma study.
Yes — we fully fund* Certificate III and Diploma qualifications, and provide financial assistance for Bachelor and graduate diploma study. Permanent staff also receive two days of paid study leave per calendar year. See our full educator benefits for more.

Family-owned and operated since 2014, we pay above-award wages (up to 14% for ECTs), offer a 90% childcare discount for staff children, fully fund Cert III and Diploma study, and provide a generous monthly resource budget so educators never have to use their own funds.
