A year full of wonder. Explore the special moments that define the Little Scholars experience.
At Little Scholars School of Early Learning, our year is filled with moments that bring children, families, educators, and our local communities together. These special events are where our values of community, curiosity, and belonging come to life in memorable ways.Â
From camping under the stars to celebrating big milestones, our annual events are designed to strengthen relationships and show families what learning looks like beyond the classroom.Â
Once a year, our Little Scholars children and their families roll out their swags, pitch tents, and experience the magic of Camp Out at Little Scholars. The evening is filled with cosy campfires, shared meals, stories, and stargazing – all alongside your child’s educators and friends.Â
Our Science Fair brings children, families, and educators together for a day of hands‑on experiments, whizz‑bang demonstrations, STEM games, and serious fun. Children become little scientists as they predict, test, and discover, often without even realising just how much they’re learning.Â
Our Science Fair is part of our Collective curriculum approach, showing families how STEM learning comes to life through play, inquiry, and everyday experiences.
During Book Week, our campuses come alive with favourite characters, dress‑ups, and stacks of treasured stories. Children and educators celebrate the joy of reading with special story times, parades, and play experiences inspired by books they love.Â
Book Week supports early literacy, language development, and a lifelong love of reading, and beautifully complements initiatives like our Street Libraries across campuses.Â
Every Little Scholars campus hosts its own ‘Picnic in the Park’ at a local park. This event helps foster community connection, encourage new friendships, and provide a refreshing change of scenery for outdoor play.Â
Kindy Graduation is a very special moment as we celebrate our oldest children and the incredible journey they’ve taken at Little Scholars. With caps and gowns, families come together to acknowledge each child’s journey as they prepare for Prep. Â
Our campus Christmas Parties are a warm, festive way to close the year with our Little Scholars community. Hosted at each Little Scholars campus, children enjoy music, crafts, and special surprises, while families and educators come together to reflect on the year, share thanks, and celebrate each child.Â
Every Little Scholars year has its own rhythm, with events and experiences that help children feel part of something bigger.Â
Throughout the year, we also host campus‑based events and community initiatives that reflect the interests of our children and families, from charity days and cultural celebrations to local partnerships and open days. Â
