Date Nights at Little ScholarsAn evening at campus, with educators your child already knows

From time to time, families are invited to a Date Night. Your child enjoys dinner and a movie at their own campus with their own educators, and you get a few hours to yourselves.

How it works

What happens at a Date Night.

A Date Night is an evening at your child’s own Little Scholars campus. Your child has dinner, plays games and watches a movie with their own educators and friends, while you have some time together.

  • Dinner
  • Games
  • A movie

There’s nobody new to meet and nothing to explain. Your child is somewhere familiar, with people who know them, and you collect them from the same front door you use every day.

The Family Time Program

Part of the Family Time Program.

Date Nights are one small part of the Family Time Program, the way every Little Scholars campus runs its week so working parents get more of their evenings and weekends. Most of it happens while your child is with us during the day.

  • Dinner at pickup

A chef-prepared dinner can be ready to take home when you collect your child.

  • Haircuts on campus

Trims happen during the day, so the weekend isn’t spent at the hairdresser.

  • Health appointments

Dentist, optometrist, speech pathologist, podiatrist and child health nurse visits, at campus.

  • Nappies and wipes

Supplied, so there’s nothing extra to pack each morning.

  • Extracurriculars in the day

Music, languages, yoga, sport and more happen in the day, not on Saturday mornings.

  • Their day, in your pocket

A daily digital portfolio of photos and learning in our parent app.

Running Date Nights since June 2016.

The first Little Scholars Date Night was on Friday 10 June 2016, at our Yatala and Stapylton campuses on the Gold Coast. Dinner, popcorn and a movie for the children, and a night off for their parents.

Little Scholars was one of the first early learning providers in Australia to hold an evening like this for families, and Date Nights have been part of the Family Time Program ever since.
