Before & After School Care
Little Scholars offers dedicated Before & After School Care and Holiday Programs at many of our campuses. Our programs are run by experienced and highly qualified professionals, ensuring your child is cared for in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
Comprehensive Care & Fun Activities
Our programs cover before and after school care, pupil-free days, and vacation care and are all part of the Child Care Subsidy (CCS). We provide air-conditioned courtesy buses that safely transport children to and from school. Each session is packed with a variety of structured and unstructured activities designed to entertain and inspire children.
Healthy Meals Provided
We offer tasty, nutritious meals every day. Our healthy breakfast and afternoon tea are included daily, and for Vacation Care days, lunch is also provided. All meals are fresh, nut-free, and accommodate varying dietary needs.
Qualified and Caring Educators
Our qualified team members are police-checked and trained in first aid and anaphylaxis management. They create a safe, happy space where children can thrive, play, and build friendships.
Exciting Vacation Care Programs
Our Vacation Care runs during school holidays and features exciting outings, themed days, and chef-prepared meals. Children stay active and entertained with a wide range of age-appropriate activities and excursions, including visits to theme parks, museums, and parks.
Child Care Subside (CCS)

What hours is before and after school care available at Little Scholars?
Our Before & After School Care programs operate during school terms, covering early mornings before school, afternoons after school, pupil-free days, and holiday periods. Please contact your local campus for specific hours at your desired location on the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Redland Bay, or Ipswich.
Are meals provided during your care programs?
Yes! We provide healthy breakfast and afternoon tea daily, with lunch included on Vacation Care days. All meals are freshly prepared, nut-free, and cater to dietary requirements.
How safe are the children in your care?
It is our core responsibility to ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child in our care. All educators are highly qualified, police-checked, and trained in first aid and anaphylaxis management. Is Before & After School Care eligible for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS)?

Can my child attend if they don't go to the closest school?
Absolutely. Children from neighbouring schools are welcome to join our Before & After School Care and Vacation Care programs, giving them great opportunities to socialise and participate in fun activities.
What type of activities do children participate in during Before & After school care at Little Scholars?
We offer a wide range of structured and unstructured age-appropriate activities, including sports, arts and crafts, science, cooking, games, and excursions during school holidays. Outings and excursions are a key feature of our holiday program.
