Little Scholars Burleigh sits on Tallebudgera Creek Road in Burleigh Heads, with the largest outdoor childcare playground on the Gold Coast, more than 1,100 square metres with a treehouse, bike tracks, mini golf, a beehive, vegetable gardens, a water park and sensory gardens. Little Scholars Burleigh runs a Government-approved kindergarten program delivered by qualified early childhood teachers, designed to lay strong foundations in the early years and prepare your child for a smooth and successful transition to prep as they reach school age. It runs inside the campus's normal 6:00am to 6:00pm long day care hours, so there is no separate kindergarten pick up. Free Kindy is available for 15 hours per week across 40 weeks.
Kindergarten at Little Scholars Burleigh typically suits children aged 4 to 5, with older 3 year olds able to start early depending on the child, campus numbers and the waitlist.
Little Scholars Burleigh is an approved Child Care Subsidy provider, so most families pay well below the full fee. The team walks every family through fees, availability and the subsidy on a campus tour, and the CCS calculator on our website gives you an estimate in a few minutes.
The CCS is paid directly to Little Scholars Burleigh and taken off your bill, so you only pay the gap. As at August 2026, families earning up to $88,520 receive a 90% subsidy, and families with more than 1 child aged 5 or under in care can receive a higher rate for second and younger children.

Yes. Little Scholars Burleigh offers before and after school care and vacation care for school-aged children, with a courtesy bus running pick-ups and drop-offs at Caningeraba State School each school day. The Child Care Subsidy applies to before and after school care and vacation care for eligible families.

Every place at Little Scholars Burleigh includes a Government-approved kindergarten program, bush, beach and pram kinder, Feed Australia approved meals and snacks from the on-campus chef, the Family Time program, long day care hours, the Intergenerational Grandfriends Program, qualified educators and teachers delivering quality care and education, and a rotating range of extracurricular activities. Studios, our name for the children's rooms, cater for every age group: nursery and infant care from 6 weeks, toddler programs from 15 months, junior and senior kindy from 2 years, and kindergarten from 4 years.

Little Scholars Burleigh serves Feed Australia approved meals and snacks prepared fresh each day by the on-campus chef, included for every child from 6 weeks to 5 years at no extra charge. Families can also order Take Home Meals, a chef-cooked dinner collected at pick-up or served on campus before departure, as a separately charged service.
