Courtney Mallison is the Campus Manager at Little Scholars Deception Bay, bringing over 21 years of experience in the early childhood education and care industry. Courtney began her childcare journey after the birth of her first child, building on a lifelong passion for working with children that started in her teenage years through extensive babysitting for local families.
As a mother of six, Courtney has a deep personal connection to early learning. Four of her children have been part of the Little Scholars family, with her two youngest currently attending Kindergarten this year. She holds an Advanced Diploma and has been a valued member of the Little Scholars Deception Bay team for almost 10 years.
Courtney’s favourite part of her role is connecting with children and their families and bringing family ideas and feedback to life within the centre. She strongly values collaboration and believes that when families share their thoughts and suggestions, it creates meaningful outcomes that everyone can be proud of.
To Courtney, strong leadership means being present, supportive, and appreciative of her team—recognising each educator for who they are and the unique strengths they bring to the campus every day.
