Meet Jae Fraser, Founder of Little Scholars School of Early Learning, one of South East Queensland’s leading family-owned early learning providers. With more than two decades of experience in the early childhood education and care sector, Jae has dedicated his career to creating inspiring environments where children can grow, explore, and thrive. As a university-educated professional, Jae holds a Bachelor of Education, an Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Education, and a suite of business management qualifications that span the breadth of the early learning sector. 

Beginning his journey as an early childhood educator, Jae progressed through teaching, leadership, and operational roles across Australia and Singapore before becoming a senior executive with one of Australia’s largest early learning organisations. In 2014, driven by a vision to reimagine early education, he opened the very first Little Scholars campus in Yatala. Today, Little Scholars has grown into a network of award-winning campuses supporting thousands of children, families, and educators across South East Queensland.

Jae is passionate about play-based learning, intentional teaching, and creating exceptional experiences for children and families. Under his leadership, Little Scholars has become known for its innovative programs, beautifully designed learning environments, and strong community focus.

Another role of Jae’s is as managing director of The Scholars Group, for which he applies his extensive knowledge to manage and consult for over 20 services across Queensland and New South Wales, specialising in the financial and quality performance of childcare and education services. His commitment to excellence in education is evident in his mentorship of childcare directors and managers, ensuring the delivery of the highest quality of education and care.

Beyond Little Scholars and The Scholars Group, Jae is a highly respected advocate for the early childhood sector. He has served with the Australian Childcare Alliance Queensland for more than a decade, including in leadership roles as Vice President and President, and also serves as a board member of the Australian Childcare Alliance. Through his work with ACA, Jae actively advocates for quality early childhood education, sector sustainability, and positive outcomes for children, families, and educators across Australia.

In addition, Jae founded the Fraser Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation supporting passionate educators and early childhood professionals nation-wide through scholarships and free professional development opportunities. His commitment to excellence, innovation, and nurturing young minds continues to shape the future of early learning in Australia.
